Lotus Justice
The Lotus Justice & Support Centre helps Romanian speakers in the UK find their way to help. We turned its website into a real app for iPhone and Android, built to put that help one press away.

Turn a working website into an app people can reach for in a hard moment.
The centre already ran a website with practical guides, a directory of trusted contacts, a help request form and an AI assistant. It wanted a proper app for iPhone and Android rather than a wrapper around the site: one that reuses the same content and backend, speaks Romanian and English, and makes asking for help as quick as possible.
- Design of 15 app screens, with a clickable demo for the client
- An iOS and Android app built in React Native
- An SOS button that sends the user's location to up to two trusted people
- Additions to the client's own server: the SOS service, an admin view and forum topics
- A complete copy of the platform on Hetzner, checked page by page against the live site
- Nightly encrypted backups, with a restore we actually tested
Calm, quick and in the user's own language.
Hold the SOS button for three seconds and the app sends your location to up to two people you trust.
The app works in both languages, so nobody has to struggle with the interface when they are already under pressure.
Guides and contacts come live from the centre's own data, so there is no second system to keep up to date.
The centre's AI assistant answers inside the app, streaming its reply as it writes.
The help request form goes straight into the same referral system the website already uses.
A forum where members sign in and support each other, with moderation built in.
Trusted contacts and guides, a tap away.

Native apps on the centre's own platform.
React Native with Expo for both phones, talking to the centre's existing Node and PostgreSQL platform, with a verified copy ready to run on Hetzner in the EU.
